Climate sensors

Climate sensors are devices designed to measure environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and CO₂ concentration indoors. They continuously capture real-time data, which is directly utilized to adjust heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems based on demand. This optimizes resource utilization, ensures comfortable indoor conditions, and reduces energy consumption.

Climate sensors utilize wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to enable easy integration into building networks. Within mesh networks, they transmit data efficiently and reliably, even during connectivity disruptions, by utilizing alternative communication paths. The captured data can be forwarded to control systems in real time or collected on cloud-based platforms for detailed analysis. This supports long-term optimizations and continuous improvements in system performance.

Climate sensors are used in various sectors. In office buildings, they control ventilation and heating systems based on air quality and room usage, promoting both comfort and energy efficiency. IT and production environments benefit from precise climate control, ensuring optimal conditions for technical equipment or critical production processes. Residential buildings employ climate sensors to improve indoor conditions and energy consumption through automated climate systems or humidity regulation.

In conjunction with CO₂ sensors, air quality sensors, and cloud-based analytics platforms, they offer more comprehensive control and optimization capabilities. Features such as Over-the-Air (OTA) updates ensure systems remain up-to-date and secure, while self-healing mesh technologies provide reliable data transmission.
