Analysis & Evaluation
Overview
This section provides a comprehensive suite of tools and views designed for analyzing and interpreting sensor data. Here, users can explore sensor readings through various visualization options, including bar charts, line graphs, and interactive map views. These visualizations allow data to be examined at different levels of granularity, whether per individual sensor or aggregated across building elements such as rooms, zones, floors, or workstations. With these tools, you can easily identify patterns, monitor performance, and gain valuable insights into your building’s environmental and operational data.
Energy Analysis
The Energy View enables users to display and compare various sensor types, such as gas, water, and electricity consumption. These metrics are captured using BlueRange Ready components or supported protocols. The view provides detailed insights into consumption data, allowing users to track usage trends over time and compare readings across different sensors or devices. This comprehensive visualization aids in identifying patterns, optimizing resource usage, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Details on how to configure and use the Energy View can be found in the dedicated section: Energy
The mentioned guide explains the setup process and demonstrates how to analyze and compare consumption data effectively.
Occupancy Analysis
The Occupancy view enables users to evaluate the utilization of their building, specific floors, individual rooms, or designated areas. Users can rely on devices that directly provide occupancy data as sensor values (leveraging various manufacturer-specific algorithms to indicate whether an area is occupied) or calculate occupancy themselves based on motion sensor data.
This flexibility allows for both real-time and historical occupancy analysis, giving users insights into how spaces are used and helping them optimize space management.
Here, the analysis focuses on historical data, providing users with valuable insights into how spaces have been utilized over time. For real-time data, users can complement this view with sensor and room maps, which display live occupancy information.
