Configuration Overview

There are a number of ways to configure and control the BlueRange platform. We have listed all these possibilities on this page to give you an overview.

Configurations

Configurations are used for creating a set of settings that you can apply to one or multiple devices.

Notifications

Notifications can be set up to inform users about device status changes, e.g. if a device becomes unavailable. They can also be applied to either a single or to multiple devices.

Actions

Actions are used for triggering one time activities on a single or many devices.

Controls

Controls are used for interacting with sensors and actuators, enabling real-time adjustments and feedback for single or multiple devices. They dynamically adapt to the configured hardware, supporting continuous values, toggles, and one-time actions across various device types.

BlueRange Gateway Settings

Once your gateway is enrolled, you can manage all its settings through the platform. You might however want to configure it before enrolling it if you have special needs because of your network infrastructure. See our BlueRange Gateway chapter for more details.

BACnet & KNX Settings
